The Sabres kicked off their season with an uneven start in Columbus, as a mix of missed opportunities and defensive lapses led to an eventful defeat. Despite early momentum, sloppy execution and turnovers proved costly, with the team struggling to maintain possession and capitalize on chances. A lack of sharpness in key areas raised concerns about consistency as the season begins, though the loss may serve as a learning experience. Fans will be watching closely to see if the team can tighten up its game moving forward.
