Former NHL forward Matt Bednar, who has spent the past season playing in Europe, has signed with the Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL, joining the team’s affiliate, the Tulsa Solar Bears, for the upcoming season. The move is part of a broader strategy by the Solar Bears to bolster their roster with experienced players who can mentor younger talent while adding depth to the forward lines. Bednar’s reputation for hard work and versatility is expected to help the Bears compete in a highly competitive league, and his presence will also bring additional fan interest to the franchise’s home games.
