Wild forward Matt Boldy recently found himself in a bizarre on-ice mishap during a game against the Chicago Blackhawks. After a collision with a teammate, Boldy's golf ball, which he had brought onto the ice as part of a charity event promotion, rolled away and came to rest near a life-size Frankenstein's monster cutout. The cutout, which was a promotional prop, had been placed on the ice for the event, and Boldy's ball came perilously close to rolling under the creature's oversized foot. Fortunately, Boldy was able to retrieve his ball without incident, but the unusual scene has left fans and observers alike scratching their heads.
