Columbus Blue Jackets general manager Don Waddell is actively pursuing a deal to sign forward Adam Fantilli ahead of the team’s training camp, seeking to bolster the roster with a proven offensive contributor. Fantilli, who has spent parts of his career with multiple NHL organizations, brings experience and scoring ability that could address key gaps in the Blue Jackets’ lineup. With limited time before camp, Waddell’s push highlights the urgency to finalize contracts before the season begins. The move would mark another strategic addition as the team continues to refine its roster for the upcoming campaign.
