In a major offseason shake-up, the New Jersey Devils have made a bold move to bolster their forward depth, signing veteran forward Anthony Mantha to a one-year deal and trading for forward Sami Vatanen's contract to acquire forward Michael Rasmussen, while also acquiring forward Cole Guttman and a 2024 first-round pick in a separate trade that sent forward Andreas Johnsson to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Devils have also acquired defenseman Adam Boqvist from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for forward Andreas Englund, further solidifying their blue line. With these moves, the Devils are looking to shake up their roster and make a push for the playoffs in the upcoming season.
