In a move to bolster their blue line, the Florida Panthers have agreed to terms with Slovakian defenseman Mikulas Hovorka on a one-year, two-way contract. The 25-year-old Hovorka is expected to provide depth and versatility to the Panthers' defense, having previously played in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and the Czech Extraliga. As a two-way contract, Hovorka will be able to split time between the NHL and the Panthers' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, helping to develop his skills and potentially earn a more significant role in the team's lineup. With this signing, the Panthers continue to strengthen their roster ahead of the upcoming season.
