Former NHL player Max McCormick is bringing his hockey expertise to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, not Notre Dame, although Notre Dame is in the same state. The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that McCormick, a veteran of the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets, has joined the coaching staff of the Green Bay Phoenix men's hockey team. McCormick, a Wisconsin native, will bring a wealth of experience to the program, having played in the NHL and developed his skills at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. As a member of the Green Bay coaching staff, McCormick will aim to help the Phoenix team improve their performance on the ice and build a winning culture within the program.
