I like random sports management games, roster builders, and card collecting games, so I spent way too much time making a little hockey website for fun: https://linecoach.app/ The main game is pretty simple. It feeds you NHL players from the 2025-26 season one at a time and you have to place them into a lineup before seeing the next player. Once you're done, the site grades your roster and simulates how your team would perform. I also added a card collecting mode because I always liked collecting aspects in sports games. You can earn packs and collect players, but there's no way to spend real money even if you wanted to. No microtransactions, no premium currency, no pay-to-win. The whole thing is free, ad-free, and doesn't require an account. Mostly just a silly hockey project I thought some people here might get a kick out of. If nothing else, it's a good way to discover which players you consistently overrate or underrate. Also: (I had to "learn how to use Codex" for work, and this was my "learning experience." Work is stupid.) submitted by /u/FixComprehensive4081 [link] [comments]
