Not sure if this has been discussed here yet but there’s a scenario here where either the Senators or Red Wings miss playoffs with MORE points than the 3rd team in the Metro. Am I the only one who thinks that’s insane? I know sometimes the best 16 teams across the league don’t make it but I’ve never seen it work this way within the same conference where it’s not the best 8 teams.
