The London Knights have dealt highly regarded Swedish forward Linus Funck to the Oshawa Generals in an intra-league OHL transaction, a move that signals a significant shift in the Knights' roster strategy. Funck, a top prospect from the Colorado Avalanche's draft pipeline, had been one of the most talked-about players in the OHL, drawing attention for his speed and offensive instincts at the junior level. The trade keeps Funck in the same league, suggesting the Knights may have been looking to reset his development path or address their own depth needs. For Oshawa, acquiring a player of Funck's caliber represents a major boost to their offensive core as they look to compete for the J. Ross Robertson Cup.
