A late-game surge from the Avalanche secured a narrow victory over the Stars in a matchup where the absence of a key player left a noticeable void. Forward Necas delivered a crucial two-goal performance, helping his team overcome the early challenges posed by the Stars' offensive firepower. Without star defenseman Makar on the ice, the Avalanche relied on depth and opportunistic scoring to turn the tide in their favor. The win underscores the team’s resilience when called upon to perform without its top-tier talent.
