The Toronto Maple Leafs have been ranked as the second‑best team heading into the NHL off‑season, according to Yahoo Sports’ latest projections. Analysts point to the club’s strong core of young talent, solid playoff experience, and recent acquisitions that have bolstered both offense and defense. Despite a recent slump, the Leafs’ management is expected to make strategic moves to close the gap with the top spot, while fans anticipate a deep playoff run. The ranking underscores the team’s potential to remain a perennial contender in the competitive Eastern Conference.
