Amazon Prime Video has officially unveiled its Wednesday Night Hockey slate for the 2026-27 NHL season, further cementing its place as a major destination for live hockey in the streaming era. The regular weekly slot gives fans a predictable night to tune in, mirroring the long-standing tradition of televised Wednesday hockey that has been a fixture of the sport for decades. The move underscores the growing competition among streaming platforms to secure marquee live sports programming as traditional broadcast networks cede ground to digital-first audiences.
