In a move that brings a spark of nostalgia to the Windy City, star forward Patrick Kane has agreed to a two-year, $16 million contract to rejoin the Chicago Blackhawks. The 34-year-old Kane, a six-time NHL All-Star and 2015 Conn Smythe Trophy winner, spent the first 13 seasons of his career with the Blackhawks, leading the team to a Stanley Cup championship in 2010. Kane's return to the Blackhawks is seen as a boost to the team's offense, which struggled to score goals last season. With his elite playmaking skills and goal-scoring ability, Kane is expected to be a key contributor to the Blackhawks' lineup in the upcoming season.
