A new report suggests the Boston Bruins are among several NHL teams actively monitoring forward Simon Edvinsson, with interest reportedly growing as his contract situation approaches a critical point. The Swedish winger, who has drawn comparisons to a younger version of a high-profile Bruins player, is seen as a potential fit for multiple organizations evaluating their forward group needs. Sources indicate Edvinsson’s offensive production and two-way play have made him a target for teams seeking depth at the NHL level. With his current club’s contract decisions looming, the forward’s future could hinge on which teams are willing to make the most competitive offer.
