A new partnership between the Senate and board game giant Asmodee will see the beloved strategy title Catan installed at the Canadian Tire Centre, the home arena of the Ottawa Senators. The collaboration aims to blend sports fandom with tabletop gaming, offering fans a unique interactive experience during game days and special events. Officials say the installation will feature large‑scale versions of the game, tournaments and family‑friendly activities, turning the arena into a hub for both hockey and board‑game enthusiasts. The move reflects a broader trend of sports franchises seeking innovative ways to engage audiences beyond the rink, while giving Asmodee a high‑visibility platform to showcase its flagship product in Canada.
