A former NHL player has been appointed as the new head coach of a team, marking a significant shift in leadership after the departure of the previous coach. The announcement comes as part of a broader restructuring effort aimed at revitalizing the franchise’s performance on and off the ice. With a background in both playing and coaching, the new hire brings a unique blend of experience to the role, though challenges remain in rebuilding a roster that has struggled in recent seasons.
