Utah's hockey landscape has undergone a rapid transformation, thanks in large part to the Salt Lake City-based Utah Grizzlies' parent company, the ECHL's expansion team, the Utah Grizzlies' parent company, and the Utah Warriors' parent company, all of which have contributed to the growth of the sport in the region. However, a new team, the Utah Warriors' parent company, the Colorado-based professional team, the Colorado Mammoth, has taken the lead in creating a thriving hockey culture in the state. In a bid to make the sport more accessible and appealing to a wider audience, the Mammoth have been hosting events and activities that have captured the hearts of Utahns. From youth hockey clinics to community outreach programs, the team has made a concerted effort to engage with local residents and foster a sense of belonging among fans.
